Algerian dress rental in Brussels: karakou, Kabyle dress, Algiers caftan

At an Algerian wedding, the bride changes outfits several times and the guests dress their best: embroidered karakou, colourful Kabyle dress, velvet Algiers caftan, gandoura from Constantine. Kiraia gathers these outfits at the hub in Anderlecht, to rent for an evening or to buy.

The Algerian outfits you will find

    • The karakou: a velvet jacket embroidered with gold thread, worn over a sarouel or a straight skirt.
    • The Kabyle dress: a colourful dress with ribbons and embroidery, modern or traditional, with its fouta.
    • The Algiers caftan and the gandoura: embroidered velvet, straight cut, for an evening or a henna night.

    Fittings, sizes and accessories

The karakou is worn fitted: the real size and measurements are on each listing, and the fitting at the hub lets you check the shoulders and waist. Jewellery and belts supplied with an outfit are listed.
