How much does it cost to rent a dress?
At Kiraia, a rental price is a fixed amount for the whole period, from pick-up to return, shown on each dress's listing. It is set by the dress's owner, with advice from our team, and it includes cleaning. You pay at the hub's counter when you pick up. Nothing is paid online.
What the price includes
- The dress for the whole period: pick-up before your event, return after.
- Cleaning after your return.
- The fitting at the hub, by appointment.
- The garment bag.
What may be added
- A deposit for a rental, asked at the counter according to the current rules; it is deducted from the total.
- Late fees if the dress comes back after the agreed date.
- A contribution in case of damage beyond normal wear, based on the replacement value shown on the listing.
- An extension, if the dress is free, at the price given at the counter.
Rent or buy
When the owner also offers her dress for sale, the purchase price appears on the listing next to the rental price. A purchase requires no deposit; it is paid at the counter when you pick up.

- No. Booking online costs nothing and charges nothing. You pay at the hub when you pick up.
- Is the deposit mandatory?
- It may be asked for a rental, according to the rules shown on the rules page; it is deducted from the price. A purchase requires none.
