An engagement is celebrated with family, often in the daytime: the dress should be elegant without being a wedding dress. Understated long dress, engagement caftan, modest evening dress: Kiraia rents and sells them in Brussels, tried on at the hub in Anderlecht.
Which dress for an engagement
- Moroccan engagement (khotba): understated caftan, soft colours.
- Turkish nişan: long light or pastel dress, matching veil.
- Civil engagement: midi dress, flowing dress, dressy set.
Booking and fitting
You give the date of the engagement; Kiraia sets pick-up before and return after, following the opening days of the hub in Anderlecht. The fitting is by appointment, with your shoes and, if you wear one, your headscarf. Dresses run from 34 to 60 depending on the piece, the real size is on every listing. Cleaning is included and payment is made at the counter, never online.

- Yes if you wish, but many keep white for the wedding; listings state the exact colours.
- Can I buy the dress after renting it?
- If the owner offers it for sale, the purchase price is on the listing; ask at the counter.
