Embroidered evening abayas, festive abayas for a wedding or Eid, dressy daytime abayas: Kiraia's abayas are most often offered for sale by their owners and designers, sometimes for rent. You try them on at the hub in Anderlecht, by appointment, and pay at the counter.
Buying an abaya at Kiraia
Each abaya is checked, measured and photographed worn. The listing states the fabric, length, real size and whether the piece is new or worn. You try it on with your headscarf and take it home the same day.
For Eid, a wedding, an evening
- Eid: dressy daytime abaya, light colours, light embroidery.
- Wedding or evening: embroidered evening abaya, with its belt or kimono.
- Everyday: understated abaya, flowing fabric.
